Mission and Values
Distinguished by our mission and values, St Michael’s programs and Christian principles guide our staff in developing students who are independent thinkers, by nurturing their curiosity and building their potential.
We work together to create a positive, inclusive, and safe environment for our students to learn in; one that is conducive to learning and free from harassment and bullying.
Values
Our values are an integral part of the culture and ethos of St Michael's school, they inform and guide our decision making.
We are a nurturing Christian community basing all we do on the values of:
Caring reaching out with love, respect and empathy.
Courage confidence to take risks; resilience to persist and overcome challenges.
Curiosity to wonder, explore, discover and grow.
Integrity doing what is right and fair; accepting responsibility.
Teamwork sharing and collaborating; helping each other to achieve our best.

Mission
St Michael’s highly skilled teachers partner with parents and carers to create a culture that inspires every child.
We draw on contemporary understanding about how young people learn best and challenge each student through inquiry-based learning to explore and discover the world and their place in it.
Our beautiful campus and township provide a variety of immersive learning environments and experiences through which students develop intellectual, technological, physical and creative talents and their understanding of the world.
Our care for each other, the environment and broader community reflects deeply-held Christian values that are at the heart of everything we do.
Vision
By 2024 we will be recognised as a welcoming learning community in which each student is able to flourish personally and achieve excellent academic growth.
Innovative, personalised learning and shared Christian values will nurture a passion for learning and a caring attitude towards others and the environment.
Culture
As a community, we are passionate about learning. We believe that every student has the capability to learn and develop in their own way and will be supported to meet their potential so that they are equipped for life.
