One of the very special things about St Michael’s is our community. Despite the large number of tourists who visit historic Hahndorf each year, the town retains its small, community feel and this is emulated in the school.
Being part of the school community also connects our families to the church and it's many programs. Enjoy a coffee and meal in Café 3:16 or participate in the weekly ‘mainly music’ sessions held at the church.
At St Michael’s we understand how important it is to involve the whole family in the education of a child and for that reason, we welcome parents and carers into the school grounds as helpers and volunteers, but also, to attend our many events and information sessions.
Class Carers help to make our families feel welcome and cared for; providing support to families and helping to nourish the community through Learning Community events.
When you join the St Michael’s community you are doing more than just joining a school.
You are joining a community.
