St Michael's Lutheran Primary School and Early Learning Centre is a co-educational ELC to Year 6 school in the Adelaide Hills, offering a continuous journey of learning and growth from early childhood through to the end of primary school.

At St Michael's, we believe every child deserves to feel known, supported, and inspired to reach their potential. We are proud to provide a nurturing learning environment where curiosity is encouraged, relationships are valued, and children are given the confidence to explore, grow, and thrive.
As an ELC to Year 6 school, we have the privilege of supporting children through some of the most important years of their development. Together with our families, we create a community where children develop a love of learning, a strong sense of belonging, and the confidence to embrace new opportunities.

Governance
School Board
The School Board consists of a minimum of 7 and maximum of 9 members who are responsible for setting the vision and mission of the school, determining budgets and fees, determining school improvements amongst many other matters of governance.
From time to time new School Board members are sought in line with the constitution. At these times, the School Board will determine the skills required for good governance and will seek nominations to the position of Board Member.
All Board members are volunteers and are critical to the functioning of the school.

School Board
The School Board have adopted a strategic plan for 2025 – 2027. Upon completion, this plan will see the school continue to improve both education and facilities at the school while embracing families and our community.
